AstroPay said the programme will provide revenue-generating opportunities to individuals and affiliate businesses.
Affiliates will also have access to multilingual support and local experts in their respective operating markets, as well as the AstroPay payment platform and solutions.
AstroPay said the programme will be open to partners including platforms, comparison sites and content creators in the payment, igaming and forex trading industries.
The scheme will be available across countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe where AstroPay is available, as well as through merchants that offer AstroPay as a payment option.
“The Affiliate Programme is a new way of doing business with AstroPay,” AstroPay’s head of affiliates Leonardo Alonso said. “All those who are professionally dedicated to affiliate marketing will be very welcome and we look forward to working together and rewarding partners with a robust partnership that provides added value through an alternative way to continue growing their business.”
The launch comes after AstroPay last week appointed Fayyaz Ansari as its new chief financial officer. Ansari joins AstroPay from Paysafe Group, where he served as CFO of its Skrill division, as well as a member of the board, from September 2015 until March this year.
AstroPay was last month also announced as the new principal partner of English Premier League football club Wolverhampton Wanderers. AstroPay branding will appear on the front of Wolves players’ jerseys during the 2022-23 season.
